Where Life is Art
The Ark Farm in Westhampton, NY is home to artist Amy Hess and her two children along with ducks, chickens, milking goats, horses and honey bees. The farm is alive with gardens, art classes and yoga.
Amy began selling her eggs and honey at the WH Farmer’s Market in 2006. Her children then inspired her to include Amy’s yummy hummus to her market offerings. The same hummus that makes her children dance with joy because it is sooo deliciously packed full of herbs from her garden making it light and fresh tasting.
Amy’s Hummus was such a great sucess, it inspired her to include other “kid-friendly” foods to her Market Menu such as freshly popped corn seasoned with seaweed and nutritional yeast, along with fresh lemonade sweetened with agave, mint and raspberries. When the adults began clamoring for more, she included fresh egg salads and tapenades.
